- General
Data Entry screen are automatically populated with the current date and time. Press "Edit" to change the date or the time. This feature enables you to backdate, forward-date, or edit entries if necessary. Press "Reset" to reset the date and time to the original values when you first navigated to the data entry screen.
- Glucose
Enter blood glucose data in either mmol/L or mg/dL. In mg/dL mode, date input is via the number pad, and is limited to 3 digits. In mmol/L mode, data input is also via the number pad, with the decimal point automatically inserted and the existing digits shifted left or right with each keystroke (like an ATM). Values must be less than 50 mmol/L. To change mg/dL or mmol/L preferences, go to "Islet™" in the iPhone/iPod Touch Settings App.
Example: Press "6" and then "5" in order to enter 6.5.

- Insulin
Keep track of insulin injections in standard International Units, or "units". Data input is via the number pad, and is limited to numbers below 100. Record the type of insulin - Humalog, Humulin, NovoLog/NovoRapid, Apidra, Levermir, or Lantus. Decimals are now allowed, and are handled in the same manner as the "ATM"-like entry in mmol/L mode for Glucose. If selected in the Settings App, the last insulin entered will be remembered and automatically filled-in.

- Food
Enter the carbohydrate content of your meal in grams. Data input is via the number pad and is limited to 4-digit integers.
