- What is SyncDocs?
SyncDocs is a simple point-and-click drag-and-drop HTTP server for transferring files between computers, or especially to applications on an iPhone. SyncDocs uses the Bonjour service discovery protocol. Islet™ uses SyncDocs to backup and restore your data, in case of accidental deletion, loss of the mobile device, or other catastrophe.

- What is required?
Just a simple download and opening of the program. SyncDocs runs on Mac OS X 10.5, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. Download SyncDocs or get more information at http://sourceforge.net/projects/syncdocs.
- Steps to Backup/Restore Islet™ Database:
1) Download SyncDocs.
2) Run SyncDocs.
3) Choose "Backup" or "Restore" in Islet™.
4) Select the name of the SyncDocs server that is detected ("SyncDocs" is the default).
5) If restoring, select the date and time of the file to restore, then restart the application for changes to take effect.
NOTE: Do not alter the directory structure that SyncDocs creates when it automatically backs up the file. This is how Islet™ knows where to look when restoring.
